I love the look of your pictures! What's your style?

Timeless, Artistic, Real Life.... The most important elements are BEAUTIFUL LIGHT and REAL EMOTION.

Do you shoot on film?

Yes, I shoot on film for the all the aesthetic and archival benefits. My lab makes gorgeous high-resolution scans from the negatives. These are included in the high quality digital files that you'll receive. I shoot digitally for indoor ceremonies and at night.

How many pictures do you take?

As many as I need to! I just focus on documenting your wedding in a beautiful way. Typically I'll shoot 15-25 rolls of film plus some digital images. After editing, a ten hour day yields from 700 - 1000 proofs.

How much do you charge for weddings?

I've learned that each and every wedding couple is unique so I offer everyone a custom quote based on their desires. Similarly you wouldn't ask a dress designer how much they charge for a dress or a realtor how much apartments are, right? So I provide the same level of service for every wedding couple by creating a package that's not too small or not too big but is just right for them.

Who will be our photographer?

I won't send a substitute or second photographer. Over time, I've found that no one else can experience a moment and photograph it like me or interact with people like I do….. so I'm the photographer. My assistant will help with equipment, lighting, and when necessary some supplemental photography, etc.

Can we purchase an album later?

Absolutely! You can purchase an album until your 1st wedding anniversary at the same price as if you purchased it up front.

We're narrowing down our choices. Can you hold our date?

Because I receive numerous inquiries for limited availability, I won't hold your wedding date without your contract and retainer.

Do you travel for weddings?

I sure do! For business or personal reasons, I've been to 17 countries on 5 continents. So let's talk about your wedding, your location, your inspiration and what you'd like regarding photography.

What happens if you get sick on our wedding day?

Since 2004 until now, I've NEVER missed a wedding. I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't be there. I suppose the only reason I wouldn't come would be for the same reasons you wouldn't come... like being hospitalized... in a coma. I've come to weddings in all sorts of circumstances including blizzards and a recent death in my family.

How soon do we get our wedding pictures?

You'll receive your edited wedding photos 2 months after your wedding. And your album will be ready within 4 months after you've placed your order.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use professional medium format and 35mm camera systems and a DSLR.... plus I bring backup cameras, a light meter, flashes, small light stands, and LOTS of film.

Do you do multi-day events?

Yes, I sure do! Contact me so we can discuss your event, the locations and your vision.
